“The I Haven’t Been Working Out” Workout

Auto Date Thursday, May 28th, 2009

I always get emails from people, especially friend that ask me about a good beginner’s program.

They always tell me that they need the “I haven’t been working out – workout.”  I laugh and send them right on over to http://www.MaximumDumbbellTraining.com

Recently I received the following questions that I’m sure you’d love to know the answer to as you prepare yourself to make a decision concerning Maximum Dumbbell Training.

=============
First Question:
=============

“Rhadi is this DVD for big time athletes or for “us” regular folks too? I’m not trying to go to the Olympics, I just wanna tone up and drop a few, ya know?”

=============
Answer
=============

I understand you loud and clear.  If there is one thing that I really wanted to accomplish with this DVD project it’s to make sure that it is for everyone. For that reason I made sure not only to include the exercises, but to provide 10 circuits that get progressively difficult as you progress. That way you can find your current fitness level and select the circuit and/or exercises that best suit you and then govern yourself accordingly.   And you can progress at your own pace.

I’ve even field tested these exercises by having my wife, my cousins, family members, and some of my elite clients perform the exercises and they all loved it and told me how great it was going to be for everyone. I truly believe that you will see, experience and feel some tremendous benefits from the Maximum Dumbbell Training DVD.

===============
Second Question:
===============

“Rhadi, Is this a training video for professional athletes or is it for us regular people?”

=============
Answer:
=============

Great question. The answer is YES!  It is for both groups of individuals.

As a strength and conditioning professional I can honestly tell you that in most cases, not all, but most – the exercise for the professional athlete and the “regular person” are absolutely the same.  Let’s take a look at running. Running is for everyone, but professionals run a little bit more and a little bit harder than others.

Thus the difference in the workout is in the intensity not the exercise. The same goes for walking. Professional race walkers definitely walk faster than the casual exerciser who uses walking for its aerobic benefits, but walking is for EVERYONE, the intensity separates the professional athlete from the recreational athlete.

Therefore, my DVD is for everyone and I’ve made it for everyone.  If you are an elite athlete or professional athlete, you can perform the exercises with heavier dumbbells and with less rest. If you are a “regular person” you can stick to the beginning circuits and the movements which are better for you and you can use very light dumbbells like those which weight 5, 10 or fifteen pounds.

So YES! Maximum Dumbbell Training is for everyone.

Get In Shape And Spend More Time With Your Family

Auto Date Wednesday, May 27th, 2009

For those that know me you know and understand that I really believe in spending time with family, so much so that I want you to be able to workout and get in shape with your family. Creating a shared interest is a huge part of being able to keep a family nucleus tight.

So when people ask me about my product with respect to “family time” I’m so excited to answer because it is truly where my heart is.

These are two of the questions that I received about Maximum Dumbbell Training (http://www.MaximumDumbbellTraining.com)

=============
First Question:
=============

“Rhadi, I’ve been doing aerobic exercise for some time now and I would like to get a tad bit more toned but I don’t want to go to the gym. I do your at-home bodyweight workout as well and I love your “spend more time with the family” approach to life. Will your DVD help me to accomplish that goal?”

=============
Answer
=============

Without a doubt! Maximum Dumbbell Training provides a plethora of dumbbell exercises and movements that will not only allow you to increase your strength and develop muscles, but it will also allow you to increase your balance and your flexibility and SERIOUSLY TIGHTEN UP YOUR CORE!  The abdominal development that you will get from this workout will make you more than happy and you will get in that sexy dress that you’ve been waiting to wear will be draped over your sexy arms and firm legs in no time.

===============
Second Question:
===============

“Coach, I have three kids, 8, 11 and 15. All of them are overweight and quite frankly I’m a little chunky myself. Will this DVD be good for all of us?”

=============
Answer
=============

YES!!

I would highly recommend that you children start out with using just a canned good.

That’s right a simple can of food out of the cupboard in order to get used to the movements. The same rule that I apply to adults, I apply to children when it comes to training and that rule is to “follow the proper progression.”

Don’t do too much too fast.

The key is to learn the movements, perform the movements properly and get the benefits from the exercises. While doing the circuits you and your family will see MASSIVE benefits in terms of strength development and weight loss.  And I applaud you for taking a step in the right direction and recognizing that your family needs to get involved in an at-home exercise  program.

He said, “I have a question about this Dumbbell Training..”

Auto Date Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

I received a question about one of my products, as I do almost everyday now  :-)

And I must say I do try to answer each and every one.

Today’s question is:

==============
Are these the same
old Dumbbell Exercises
that everyone else puts
in videos or that I can
find on the internet?
===============

No-sir-ee-bob! And here’s why.

This workout requires Dumbbells and Dumbbells ONLY!!

No benches, no balls, no gimmicks, no BS.

And this DVD doesn’t just splatter a whole bunch of exercises across the screen and then let you figure out how to put them together.

Maximum Dumbbell Training hands you the exercises and the program. You just pop it in and go! I’ve done all the work for you. Your job is just to start looking good and getting in shape.

Maximum Dumbbell Training also progresses you from Circuit 1 all the way to Circuit 10 and then at the end you get some bonus exercises and protocols that touch on everything from explosive training to shoulder rehabilitation. So yes, in the first two or three circuits you may see some exercises that you are familiar with because this DVD was made for EVERYONE.  But as you get “deep” into the DVD, especially in the bonus section, you will be surprised with the content and the material. It is ferocious!

There is 1 hour and 45 minutes of material packed into one DVD to ensure that the beginner and even the SUPER advanced workout enthusiast can benefit.  It took me some time to structure such a DVD, but it is by far the best Dumbbell Training DVD available PERIOD!

What’s Better Kettlebells or Dumbbells?

Auto Date Monday, May 25th, 2009

I get asked the question all the time about the difference between Kettlebells and Dumbbells and to be quite honest with you, I love that question.

The question that I don’t like is, “Aren’t Kettlebells better than Dumbbells?”  Such a question makes the assumption that one is better than the other when in fact each is a tool that serves some different as well as overlapping functions.

But to answer the question that so many of you ask, especially as it pertains to my DVD Set Maximum Dumbbell Training
( http://www.MaximumDumbbellTraining.com )

===============
Are Kettlebells Better
Than Dumbbells?
===============

Here’s the answer…..

No?  Kettlebells aren’t BETTER than Dumbbells. And Dumbbells aren’t BETTER than Kettlebells. They are both tools that you may use to get in some of the best shape ever.

Just think…. If you hired a plumber to come to your home to fix your toilet and he showed up with nothing but a hammer. You’d be pretty upset.

Why?

Because you know that “one tool” cannot do the job.  Such is the case with strength training.  Just having one tool to do the job. If you want to be in “business”, you’re going to have to put some tools in your tool belt.  Maximum Dumbbell Training is just the tool you need in order to help you get the job of getting yourself, your clients or your athletes in great shape.

Personally, everyone that I know who uses Kettlebells, uses Dumbbells as well. It’s just the smart thing to do for TOTAL Body Development. There are movements that you cannot do with a Kettlebell that you can do with a Dumbbell and vice versa.  The Kettlebell is great but it DOES NOT allow you to train with speed like the Dumbbell.

You just cannot do 5 Kettlebell Snatches in less than 6 seconds like you can do with Dumbbell Snatches. When training for repetitive movements like in wrestling and martial arts, this is CRUCIAL. Nor can you do super fast Dumbbell Punches with a Kettlebell like you can with a Dumbbell. However, each apparatus has its place and if you only have Kettlebells, you will find this DVD very useful as well and you may decide to invest in a set of Dumbbells, just as I have seen fit to spend some of my time using Kettlebells. Just so that you know there are 10 Circuits on this DVD. That’s enough to keep you more than busy.

Take care and have a great time with Maximum Dumbbell Training – http://www.MaximumDumbbellTraining.com
