Is your Mindset Keeping that Body Weight On?

When it comes to losing body weight, you can become your own worst enemy.  When you want to lose that extra weight, you have to find a way to get your body and mind to work together.  If you fail to do that, you are going to have a hard time getting rid of that extra body weight and getting into shape.

If you do not allow your body and mind to work together you will: 

 Dread your workouts
 Not try as hard as you can
 Put off working out

Is that a good way to lose excess body weight?  If you fall into that trap, you are going to end up carrying that weight around for a long time.

You need to get your body and your mind on the same team so you can do great things like:

 Get excited about your workout
 Push yourself further
 Lose weight and take care of yourself

When your mind is not healthy, it is hard to get your body healthy.  That means that you need to find a workout that you enjoy, and then put everything into it.  You need to put your mind and body into the workout so you can see great results.

You have the ability to control your body weight.  You just need the right workout and a positive frame of mind and you will start shedding pounds.

I bet you would, but if you know what’s good for you in these upcoming months you betta get used to saying, “No Thank You!” a whole lot.

Why?

Well, when you look at all the the candy we eat during Halloween, then all the pumpkin pie and sweet potato pie in November and the couple of glasses of egg nog we chug down during this time of the year couple with Thanksgiving and the big dinners in December, you can see that your waistline won’t look like we’ve been in a recession but the after effects can put in a depression.

Personal Trainer Myths

Have you fallen into the trap of trying to use a personal trainer to get the body that you need?  Have you realized that it just isn’t working out for you?  Why do you think that is?

Chances are, you have fallen victim to some of the most popular personal trainer myths, such as:

 

 A personal trainer will give me the motivation that I need
 A personal trainer knows all of the secrets so I will get in shape
 A personal trainer is the easy way to lose weight and get in shape

First, a personal trainer cannot motivate you.  You are the one who holds the key to your personal motivation.  They might tell you they can give you motivation, but they cannot.

Strength Training for the Average Person

Beijing Olympics Athlete Retested for Steroids

CERA or Continuous Erythropoiesis Receptor Activator is a stamina boosting drug which was recently found during the Tour de France. Its the latest version of EPO drugs and it seems the Beijing Olympics drug testing
might missed this drug out

The drug CERA is said to increase the number of red blood cells produced by bone marrow. It’s genetically designed to last longer and require lesser injections that the older EPO drugs

So IOC has decided to retest all of the samples collected from the Olympic games and I reckon we might have a few surprises

The Olympics games saw 9 athletes tested positive out of 5000 test. That’s like less than 0.2% of those who got caught based on overall athlete population.

How Do You Lose Body Weight AND Keep it Off?
